The mindset that setting the thermostat lower will blow colder air.

We just keep ours on 74. Pretty much only touch it to go from cool to heat.

My wife is the same way.

She also thinks setting the dishwasher to the sani cycle will somehow heat the water to boiling temperature.

More threads about a fat arse needing his AC to be in the 60s when it’s 90-100 degrees outside, then bitching when his unit blows up.

Just spent a week in a condo with a bunch of women. First day, one of them set it to 68. We were on the beach and loading up the condo so it got warm, had I left it on 68 it probably would have broken the air conditioner. Damn thing was rattling and working overtime.

On the last day I was in bed and it was hot, one of them had set it to 78!

My wife loses her phone 20 times a day. No way I'm putting her in charge of the thermostat.

This time of year, 78 day/76 night.

Perfectly fine with a fan on esp when coming in from shop or doing yard work.

It doesn't?

It gives you hotter water, but not boiling.

"Hotter Water: It heats the water to a minimum of 150°F to 155°F during the final rinse—and often raises the main wash temperature as well—meeting National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards.Longer Duration: The high heat requirement extends the total run time by anywhere from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on your model."

Little too warm for me but I’m sure as I get older it will be perfect!

I'm learning all kinds of new stuff today... turning the ac down doesn't blow cooler air, the dishwasher sani doesn't boil water and there are these things called curbs that keep attacking my wheels.
