I haven't popped one since high school, not counting flats from nails etc. I told my wife about this thread. I asked her to estimate how many tires she and both girls have popped in the past decade. We decided on 20-25.

I let my wife drive my prized 2015 Trail Edition 4Runner with only 25k miles on it and she came back with two tires scraped to shite on the side.

At least she didn’t back into a brand new Audi driver side door like mine did immediately after giving her a car for her birthday. Cheers good buddy hope it makes you feel better… maybe you bought road hazard. Check the paperwork

I never buy this for myself, but I realized it was quite wise for my wife and girls. I'm pretty sure that we almost got kicked off of the road hazard insurance one year at a particular BR tire dealer

Well I swear my wife drives around in scrap yards for fun as many nails that she gets in her tires

It’s a 2023 Hyundai Elantra. The only tires I buy for our vehicles are Michelin Defenders. I won’t even consider another tire. They last longer, ride better, and get better wet road traction than any tire I’ve ever seen. Well worth every penny, especially considering it’s my family in the vehicle.

Yeah. I didn’t realize it when I started this thread, but they included road hazard coverage when they installed the tires. I was out of town (actually visiting our Gulf Coast branches) the day she got them installed. My involvement in buying these tires only went so far as giving my daughter my credit card to pay. I didn’t know until this morning that Pam (she’s the owner of the tire shop) had thrown in road hazard coverage. That’s one thing I really like about living in a small town. When my daughter went in to get the tires, all she had to do was tell Pam I’d told her to come get tires. Pam knew exactly which ones I’d want for her car and took care of everything from there.

Car Booster Cushion
Oh, at her height she would probably really benefit from a seat cushion similar to this as thick as you can find.
I sat on some thick textbooks bc I was in a rush in college and boy driving was so much easier (and safer) from that elevated height.
I bought a cushion similar to the link and have been using it when I drive ever since.
Also, the added height can make a big difference if an airbag is deployed in the future to take less of a hit to the face.
