Is that building still there or did that get torn down with the gas station.

The last three times I’ve been to that Walmart there has been a fight.

I drive past the one on O’Neal and go to Central to get the same thing

Completely blown out of proportion by the FB Karen brigade.

The fact that this skirmish was made into such a big deal actually reflects positively for Central. "oh no, a fight at school?!"

Many of us graduated from HSs where fights were pretty damn routine, just didn't have phones and social media.

When I was there the fights were at the McDonald’s or the Pits. Bringing a gun to school was if you were leaving early to go make an afternoon hunt.
Times have changed. For sure . Coach Ollie would light you up if you crossed the line and didn’t care if your feelings got hurt .

Got my truck stuck in there once halfway up the door! Made one phone call and it looked like all of Central came running! There was like 20 trucks that responded lol

We covered that when the Mayors son sent us the FB live videos of Lael threatening him with a gun. I was lucky enough to grab them before ole Lael realized it may have not been the brightest move and took them down.

Of course we did a little digging and found some of his campaign videos and made a little mashup

Ah, yes. That's it. The good folks of Zachary must be so proud.

He told us that too. Another memorable one was when one of the guys got his girlfriend pregnant. He brought us all in class and proceeded to chew our asses. The last thing he told us to remember was “you can dip your own in the ink , just don’t write your name.” He’s one of a kind.

If that fight was the worse thing that went on there, then they are doing pretty good. When I was in HS, that could happen on any given day.

Well i sure as shite didn't go to schools like that, and i sure as shite don't want my kids going to a school that can have a fight break out like this any given day.
Don't try to normalize this. There's public schools and shitty private schools where this happens, and then there's good private schools where this type of stuff never happens.

We had a few fights in school, but they were one on one and usually broken up by the other students. We sure as hell didn't jump on the tables and act like a bunch of feral animals. There is a huge difference.

Wales didn't care about me but Ms. Johnson hated me so much. I am older so she may have been gone by the time yall got there. I was always in trouble for talking in class, dress code violations, or no physical touching. I had the same bf all 4 years so we were easy targets. If he touched my hand giving me a book or change for a snack they were sending us to the office every time.

When did you graduate? Ms D Johnson was mean old woman. Bob flirted with all the cheerleaders just like the rest of the coaches .

Those teachers who fought in name didn't frick around.

We had a shop teacher, this talk black guy who fought in Nam.

He has sympathy for no one. His famous saying was "it'll be alright in the morning". If someone cut their finger or something he would say "go to my first aid kid, get a Band-Aid.. It'll be alright in the morning". I took his class either my junior or senior year. His class was at the furthest point behind the school and it was all males. If the class would start talking too much he would say "God damn it! Yall need to shut the frick up. I want to be able to hear a frog pissing on a Lilly pad"
