They did, but most of it was in their best interest (which isn't a problem since it has benefited the people who live there). With that said, I might have exaggerated my points a little, but my point was.. The US tried to be a major player in the oil industry in Africa, but we didn't have the trust of the people there. And China took advantage of it and was able to establish themselves there.

That's dumb. All powerful cultures throughout history have killed, subjugated, and oppressed less powerful, neighboring cultures. It's not something exclusive to white people.

Oh I absolutely agree. I was aguing against someone who made it sound like white ppl were morally superior in that regard. When In truth we are right there with the other races of the world.

the US also tried to dictate who they run their countries. China said they DGAF so long as the African nation allowed Chinese companies to exploit the mineral resources and ship them back to China

Lots of people (particularly Africans) bitch about economic colonization it is often called neocolonization.
