How many troops were storming the Alamo? I’m not googling it, but I’d assume it was a sizable number.

High tech weaponry would give them an edge, but you’re talking 24 guys against how many?

Delta guys arm themselves depending on the mission.
As per the OP, the mission would be to defend the Alamo, an isolated fort in the middle of fields.
They are going to bring whatever they have at their disposal to defend an isolated fortified position.
Delta wins 100/100 times.
ETA: anybody that believes men with muskets defeats Delta Force in a fortified position in the middle of fields, is a communist retard.

How much ammo and how many barrels do they have though?
I imagine the mexicans pull back almost immediately when they come under heavy machine gun fire from artillery range but if they dont, it's gonna take a buncha belts and a buncha barrels to kill them all.

For the OP. The range and accuracy of modern weaponry would repell any early 19th Century attack before they moved into formation.
The Mexican Artillery range in 1836 was 400yards. Muskets had a 100 yard range.
2 squad machine guns and a modern mortar would destroy the Artillery before it was set up. The infantry would be devastated while marching.
