Band. Been playing bass off and on since HS but decided in my 40s I would join a band. My midlife crisis I guess. Cheaper than a Porsche and I actually pick up some money to spend on cool gear. And it’s a blast, except this is me after a fun late gig

Similar. I’ve been a history nerd most of my life. About five or seven years ago I decided I wanted my own library of US history, with a focus on the civil war, so that if I ever wanted to read a book on some certain thing, I could go grab one.
I’m probably somewhere in the 1500 book range in that collection, all hardcover.
Also a big Jack London fan. I have somewhere north of 100 different editions of Call of the Wild and 50 editions of White Fang.
A pretty nerdy hobby, but I enjoy it.

I’ve been watching non watch owners kvetching about watch owners and watch threads as well.

Aviation. I’m 50+ and do a lot of dusk patrol around the area after work just to get away from it all for an hour or so.

Watches - always had an interest, but I am pretty, pretty, pretty deep down the rabbit hole.
Skimo.
Photography - nice way to enjoy other hobbies.
Cooking - something to do on a daily basis.

Disc Golf, well started years ago, kind of quit a few years, now back at it almost weekly.
Now Camping. And guess what's at alot of campgrounds, DG courses.
Also started hitting the gym about 5 days a week. Wish I had started earlier.
Can't wait to take the Travel Trailer around the country and play all the cool courses around the country.

Cooking... well, specifically smoking meats. Brisket, pork, ribs and more.
I also bought a mini excavator w a forestry mulcher to "save money" clearing the back property. I've found a certain peace in doing that work to the point I enjoy hiring out a few days each month.

This is a great thread for me. I've finally admitted to myself that I put way to much work into family businesses or my profession and personal aspects, such as hobbies, became lost to me

Always been a mtn biker, still to this day. Early 50's. I just started getting into 4 wheeling, always wanted to since I was kid getting tossed around in the spillway.
