The takes coming out of this are so unbelievable that I feel like if the tide does turn, people will look back in absolute horror or wonder.

Richard Reich actually wrote an entire article in a major publication whose gist was "Dictators actually WANT MORE FREE SPEECH. In order to save democracy and avoid dictatorships, we actually have to censor more"

People on the extremes of either political side tend to believe what they hear, and never ever bother to verify or seek alternate sources to triangulate on the truth.

They hang out ONLY with others like them, and just get worked up to the point of insanity.

CAN YOU BELIEVE Trump wanted to put those infant babies in cages so they never see their mothers again?

He's for open discussion of topics. Not something the left is in favor of.

That's one of my favorite, most least self-aware clips I have ever seen.

When I saw it the other day I could not stop laughing.

Yesterday I created this thread about the little-known "Monster Study". The TLDR on it is that it showed exactly how impressionable kids are (ages ranged from 5yrs old - 15yrs old). Twitter being made primarily into a Leftist echo chamber (as exampled by how someone could be penalized by Twitter for mentioning that they see the trans movement as an attempt to normalize gender dysphoria as natural and holistic rather than a mental/emotional disorder) was just an example of how they attempt to push a narrative through simple removing dissent instead of having the better stance (see also: DU).

The funniest thing is that he hasn’t even done anything yet. The deal won’t be final for months. He has no power at the moment to change anything. All the things the employees are freaking out about are things they know a fair owner will change, because, wait for it, THEY KNOW THEY ARE PARTISAN HACKS!!!!

He tweeted a meme about one yesterday lol

But also Twitter has 7,000 employees. There are a lot that are fine with Elon.

He said stuff they don’t agree with, or at the very least, he’s not a member of the collective. That means he’s “bad” and not “good”

Axios has an entire article today entitled "What Free Speech could unleash ", with the subline "everything that could be allowed on Elon Musk's free-speech twitter"

And it is a bad thing according to them. All you need to know
