What happens if I don't pay a speeding ticket in a city I will never go to again

I moved recently and just got in the mail a camera speeding ticket from the city in Iowa I used to live in
Problem was that this was mailed to my old mailing address on June 14 and I moved away on June 18, so I just got it in my new mailbox on Friday that was forwarded to me.
The due date for paying the fine was July 11 so it was already past due by the time I got the speeding ticket notice in my new mailbox
What will happen if I don't pay it?

The swat team will kick in your doors, break through your windows, burn your children with flashbang grenades, and shoot your dog.

Most states have agreements to suspend the license of drivers if they don't pay the fine from another state. I've learned this the hard way.

You're fine. Not like they can suspend your license or send it to a collection agency or anything.

They have these things called computers and they can talk to other computers, even in other cities......seriously.
But you go ahead Mr Rebel and tell them to STFU

Mail them one dollar a month for the next 16 years.

You'll have an active warrant. Congrats.
ETA: Wait, camera ticket. Nvm, those aren't even legal most places.

Well, if it's anything like my unpaid ticket, you'll travel internationally, fly into the country, get detained for hours by customs, then they'll call the county you got the ticket in to see if they want to fly all the way across the country to bring you back to their jail for the night over a $200 ticket.
Additionally, anytime you get pulled over you run the risk of the same thing happening. Don't be a moron.

I was told by a ny cop that if I didn't pay my driving peivelages would be revoked in ny state. I thought that was fine since I never planned on returning. 6 months later I found out my AL license was suspended for failure to appear in NY. Just pay it

was a confederate flag involved?
think carefully -- it's a trick question

Probably nothing since it's a camera ticket. How much is the ticket?

I think I remember having to pay a fine being in the OP's exact situation. Tried to renew my license and they brought up the old ticket from another state.

Not a criminal moving violation.
They can try to frick with your credit in order to collect on it, perhaps, but that's about as far as they can go.

The city will put chemicals in your tap water to suppress erections.

Maybe nothing, maybe something. Is it worth $100 to find out?

The camera speeding ticket company will find some way to frick with your credit.
