So kinda like what’s happening in the USA right now?

I spent the last year around lots of Egyptians. They are a truly vile group of people. Under no circumstances are they to be trusted.

Modern Egyptians are direct genetic descendants of ancient Egyptians. There's remarkably little genetic contamination from various invaders over the centuries.

When we came across the border from Israel, it was kind of sketchy. I told my wife and son, “do exactly what I do”.

There were 4 young girls in front of me. At the very first guard shack on the Egypt side, there was a guy in uniform checking to see if you had some document. On the bench just past him was a guy in black slacks and a blue shirt almost just like the guy in the guard shack. On the bench next to the guy was a beret with some insignia on it. The guy on the bench wasn’t wearing any insignia or patch or anything.

After I dealt with the guy in the guard shack, I step past and turn to look at my wife and son. Well behind me, the guy on the bench is reaching out and taking these girls passports and taking pictures with his cell phone. My wife saw this.

He never asked for mine. As we moved past he said “passport” and reached for my son’s passport. My son handed it over. My wife snatched it out of his hand. The dude on the bench said “official, official”. We just walked off.

The guy on the bench was taking the pictures of the passports of young people coming across the border. I have to believe it was for some trafficking purpose. He was doing this 5 feet from the official border guard for Egypt.

Coming across the border was a fiasco. One of the guys leaving when we flew out wanted a bribe. It was just sketchy as hell.

Maybe Egypt can return to former glory when the precession of the equinox turns over enough. Turn things greener again

Its just definitive proof that Jewish slaves did indeed build all the nice stuff. And when Moses people were let go, well you see the end result

The pyramids at Giza are dated to around 2600 BC. If that is accurate, this would be around a millennium before Joseph arrived in Egypt, according to pretty much anyone who has studied this.

the crowded pictures of Cairo can provide a description of society collapse when extreme over population occurs. My first hand experience recruiting industrial workers in Cairo in the 1990's, was that there is many times too much demand for goods services in that city. So the societal fall back is to steal anything not under big lock and key. Yes, this is an appropriate generalization.

Given a bunch of slaves, the Egyptians could still build pyramids today, so they haven’t really “gone” anywhere, which is more to the point.

Anyway, you could substitute for Egyptians, Persians, Greeks, Ottomans, and Chinese.

You would be surprised at what the Africans could do back before the evil Europeans came and stole their ideas and killed the brightest people because they were close to achieving world peace.

My van driver was Celtic Christian. It slipped when we were talking one day. He was very nervous asking me to please never mention it.
