hmmmm
It's a very good question and factually on point however I will say that the prosperity gospel the full-on people who like go to Lakewood they put very little focus on God at least a full picture of God
Not just a loving God that rewards but a jealous God that punishes they ignore that part
A heartfelt Catholic and a practicing Muslim yes they believe in the same God and have the same idea of God
Although they to focus on very different parts of God but the true believers of that ilk
believe in God

in general, it helps me. No other reason.
No clue about an afterlife, but spirituality is about diving inward.

A better example would’ve been a Hindu, a Catholic, and maybe a Tao

Good question. The answer though simple, must be laid out in order to understand the answer. So I apologize for the "holy wall of text batman".
The heart of man believes that he is good and strives to be better (this why there are many religions in the world, and many classes to teach integrity and character). No one really believes that they are a bad person. I mean I have never had anyone come up to me introducing themselves as being a bad person, I am sure that you haven't either. Even those on death row (to which I have visited multiple times) do not believe that they are bad people. However, this mindset reveals how great the problem is. You see, man believes that he is good when in truth he is not good in his nature at all. Allow me to explain with a simple truth.
Have you ever told a lie before? Well the answer is, that is a silly question, we have all told a lie before. The point is not the telling of the lie, but the heart behind it. No one has ever been taught to lie. Sure we can be taught how to lie (honing our ability to do so), but I am talking about the where the lie is birthed, in the heart. Now a person who tells a lie, what do we call them? A liar, correct? To be called a liar for some is fighting words. Why? Because man believes that he is good in nature, and being called a liar is to say that he contrary to what he believes who he is. You can change the character flaw from lying to cheating, to committing infidelity, to murder, to stealing, etc.
No one has to ever be taught to have a bad character trait. No, it is already engrained in our very being, our nature. Now going back to the beginning of what I said. Man thinks that he is good in nature and strives to be better, however, when he is confronted with the stark truth of who he really is, i.e. got caught in a lie, adultery, DUI, drugs, etc.. He doesn't like what he has done, nor does he like who he is. As a result, he wants to change that about himself right? We have support groups and intervention groups, we have marriage counselors, even religion, who all try to help him become better, after all he is a good guy, he just messed up.
You see every religion, every support group or intervention group has the power to change a man's mind. They can train that man to do things in order to safe guard against those nasty traits to ever rear their ugly heads up again. However, the problem is, only the symptom has been treated, That man is still a liar, a drunk, an adulterer, a thief, a drug addict. He has only been trained to think different. Therefore, his nature has never been changed.
Now, we get to the GREAT reason why to believe in God. As I stated before, man when he truly sees who he is, evil and not good, he desires to change. However, he cannot because man in his evil nature, by definition cannot change that nature with the same nature. We have all heard the expression, a tiger cannot change its stripes. This is where the GREAT reason to believe in God comes in. Like I said before, all religions have the ability to change a man's mind, but only 1 has the ability to CHANGE one's heart / nature. That is God, and not just any god, but I am talking about the One True God, who exists as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
You see, God the Father knew that man's nature is wicked and perverted because of sin (Jer. 17:9, 1 John 4:9) so he sent God the Son, Jesus Christ to pay the price for that evil nature (1 Pet. 1:18-19). He did so by dying on the cross, and God the Father raised him from the dead thus giving him the power to change our nature from being evil to becoming good. This only happens when one sees who they are before God, and wants to change, but recognizes that they cannot. So they put their belief in God the Son as the only one who can change them. God the Son the sends God the Holy Ghost to enter into that man and testifying that his nature has been changed and that he has been redeemed to God the Father (1 Cor. 6:11, Rom. 8:16).
So all of what I have just said is ABSOLUTELY the GREATEST single reason to believe in God.

To an extent, but there are really notable differences. There is a singular creator of course, unlike in Hinduism but enough differences for a ton of disagreement afterwards.

The very day science can definitively explain creation, then fine
Until then, idk how you can't at least ponder the existence of a higher being

You will only see the loved ones that made it to heaven. What about the other ones that are burning in hell for all eternity.
Doesn't seem like a very loving god to me

Can you prove there isn’t a God
Why should one need to prove the nonexistence of a god? Can you prove invisible fairies that secretly run everything don’t exist? Of course not nor why should you even try, there’s no reason to think they do. Same thing other than we’ve been told there is a god.

What good reason is there to believe in God?
Two options:
Either the earth has always existed and there is no true moral system, or
God exists, and there is good and evil and we can know it.
If there is no God, then whatever rights you have come from a government and you have no basis for redress when you feel you’ve been wronged. Because there’s no such thing as right and wrong, not really.
Or your rights come from God and you have rights that are inalienable, that you can fight for with purpose and righteousness.

Because the world is too wonderful despite what we see as humanly pain for it not have been created by something wonderful.
How could we have all these resources that allow us to invent all the wonders of mankind had God not put them there for us to discover?

I’ve been down this same rabbit hole I believe you might be in now. Chances are good, this isn’t truly, deep down, about whether God exists or not. People go thru shite in this life and it’s entirely reasonable to just say, there is no God. For some reason, I don’t get the feeling you are interested in a logical debate, more of emotional. I do know what it’s like to question everything in existence. Sometimes life does deal shitty hands. But I will say, most of the conversations I’ve had with people on this, once you actually start talking face to face, it’s always more than an intellectual discussion. I would talk to a Christian friend that may be decent in apologetics, but don’t be surprised if it’s leads to a spiritual battle in your own heart. Best of luck.

Deep down, I'm a frightened person which makes me a skeptic.
However, too many things have occurred - just fell into place - to help me out over the years. There's something behind it IMO

I think that everyone knows there is a creator. It’s easier to deny than believe for multiple reasons, but deep down we all know our universe is intelligently designed.
There is a God shaped hole in everyone’s heart. It’s truly transformative and the Holy Spirits
Has done thing in my own life I never thought possible as I’ve matured spiritually.
