You know that’s the worst thing to say to a woman when she’s like this.

You can use that for a light source in some situations. Not in others. I prefer a dedicated light like the Streamlight Microstream. But whatever works best for you & your routine.

i carried knives all the way into my 30s. lost a few to forgetting when going on planes. then i started working with very large school districts and they wouldn't allow me to have them when i went onsite.

Then I lost one because Joe effing Biden decided to show up unannounced to a sporting event and security just confiscated it on the spot. hated that SoB ever since then.

i keep one in the car at all times but i just got out of the habit of carrying it on my person.

I just looked it up, and I apparently paid $25 for my Leek a decade ago. Bastard is $45 today. Damned inflation

That's bullshite. They should have given you your property back. I'd have been PO'd, too. You know someone probably took it home with them....

Nice, I cc a s&w shield. Doesn't work too well opening boxes but it's better than nothing.

I don't think I've even owned a pocket knife since I was 10. Even then I never really carried it anywhere. Can't remember a time in my adult life where I needed a pocket knife.

Up until three years ago i carried a pocket knife every day at work. A lot of times I’d have a Leatherman on me too.

When I switched jobs, I can’t do so. I still carry a knife on weekends when I’m out, but it feels weird not having one every day.

Went to a concert in Brandon last year. Someone (Beach Boys?) and Charlie Daniels band.

Young guy two or three in front of us in metal detector line got stopped and had to go back to his car with his (not all that big) pocketknife. I told the wife it was a long way back to the car and they were going to have to tell me to do it. When the detector went off, I told the guy I had a pocket knife. I showed it to him and he waved me on through.

I guess being an old fart sometimes comes with privileges.

Carried as a kid, and kept carrying after I started working in an office in Dallas. Lost a Case Sodbuster (yes, I am a redneck) to TSA at DFW in the late 80's, or early 90's. Started carrying a little "office" knife similar to this after that. After 9-11, I'd have to remember to leave it in the car when flying.

Collect pocket knives now. Daily carry is a little Purple Spyderco Ladybug that's perfect for an LSU fan.

After 9/11 when you couldn't really make it a habit, because of travel. I carried one until that point. I still tried to carry one on and off, but I forgot once and made it out of an airport, then coming back from Boston - after the bombing - the gate agent took it from me and referenced "We just had a bombing, it's insensitive to carry a knife" and since I had to get home and was late, I lost a gift from family that was a pocket knife. I pretty much stopped at that point.
