I agree with that. In my head I thought of the OPs question in terms of larger buildings not houses.

I disagree, I’ve never seen a brutalist building that I’ve liked. The one you posted is no exception. Concrete, especially in the flat bland brutalist style, is not something to be showcased. It’s ugly and depressing. Every brutalist building makes me feel like slitting my damned wrists.
