I agree with that. In my head I thought of the OPs question in terms of larger buildings not houses.

I’m a fan of Blighted Revivalist.

For Louisiana, I would love to see the classical or a French creole vernacular in commercial buildings. Something stately - not the crap designs like the downtown library. Imagine if that library was like an old antebellum home in downtown by the river.

ETA - big 3 or 4 story with wrap around balconies on each level overlooking the river.
