What form of architecture do you wish would come back to prominence?

I definitely wish there was more old school marble and stone neoclassical architecture being built

I love Art Deco and wish that would came back.

Also the baroque architecture that you see in Vienna. I like the very ornate buildings, both interior and exterior. They went through a period where they rejected the ornate style and everything started to be very plain and I’m not a fan of that.

Also we need to demolish every brutalism structure there is. They’re horrible looking and a complete eyesore to the cities they’re in.

Houses made of hay or sticks were once popular. I'd like those to come back.

Igloos

Tee-pees

Pueblos

Blending mid mod architecture and styling with modern technology would be ridiculously awesome.

Had to look this up. And crazy how much it is rep'd in Dallas. And many other places. Didnt realize these structures was a "form". Just thought ugly laziness.

None will come back. We live in the era of Disposable Architecture with pre engineered metal buildings with EIFS facades.

It is money-the low bid. No one wants to spend what it takes to actually build something that lasts. Only occasionally does it happen.

Hold your horses. This is a big part of the Green New Deal.

Baroque
Greek Revivalist
Gothic
Neo-Classical
Renaissance

Buildings of these styles are works of art and can be a small step in generating tourism (it gives the tour guides something impressive to show off and discuss, no one does that with something like the Chase building in downtown BR). The art of the building often included interesting flourishes that held some meaning which gave the building a bit of its own personality.

Go on a bus tour to some place like Philly, NYC or Boston and notice the styles of the buildings that are pointed out but also the styles that really capture your attention for longer than a 5-second glance. I would wager the majority of those aren't going to be the crap-shows like what is more often built today.
