Great-grandpa custom built a machine. Knew it inside and out. Anytime the machine needed maintenance, he knew exactly how to maintain the machine. Under his care, it ran for decades. But now great-grandpa is dead. He didn't pass on his method of maintaining the machine to anybody. Now improper maintenance led to the machine breaking down. The owner of the machine has no idea what's wrong with it. They have to call in someone to look at it. The repair guy that is called in has never seen this machine and has to research the machine. He sends specs and photos to other repair guys he knows, nobody has ever seen this machine before. Days go by, the machine still isn't running. He finally determines that large sections of the machine have to be replaced. New design is completely different from what great-grandpa had in mind. Parts have to be ordered. The machine has to be taken apart to prep for the new internal install. Replacing many of these parts has unintended consequences. Now the machine isn't as efficient, breaks more often, leading to incredible downtime. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of man hours and millions in profit are now lost. An awfully expensive solution for what used to be a dollar and a minute of one man's time.

The other 10% is caused by radical liberalism and gay agendas then. I suspect more like 50% though.

earned income tax credit is the biggest scam in the US and no one acknowledges it. For example: Individual files a tax return claiming that they were self employed and earned somewhere between $14k-17k for the year. The government sends them a tax refund of about $5k.
Is this accurate? They don't pay FICA and that's just overlooked? Mayve those 80k nee IRS agents could crack down on this if so. Unlikely, I know.

Just show me the circuit diagram!

This is no different from IT, especially after AGILE development methods took over. When you're taking AGILE training, and one of the first things the course tells you is that AGILE does not mean no documentation, you can be assured that is exactly what it means. Remember when we were supposedly taught to add comments in code? Multiple Lols.

That's an excuse, and being a Navy brat helped teach me that. Would you argue that an E-5 with three kids living overseas wasn't the near definition of poverty? Yet, that NCO was checking his half black/Philipino's kids homework every night. You see this often in the civilian world too. A part of Houston called Alief is pretty poor, and has shitty schools. The Asian and African kids go to the same school as American black kids do. African and Asians emphasize education to a far greater degree than some other groups. Which groups go to A&M, and which ends up stealing rims? I'll hang up and listen.

I was a computer programmer for 20 years and I can't remember ever reading a code comment that I found helpful. There were times I put in a comment temporarily, to hold onto an example CURL call to an API endpoint or something, but comments checked into the actual repo by someone else? Totally useless and not to be trusted.
I think I was on one or two projects where unit tests actually helped us. Similarl with log files, APM, etc.- mostly garbage.

Fair point. Like the time I trusted that the power cable labeled "Server 112" actually went to Server 112. And not to the switch for the entire rack

Blood diagnostics. Vax is a weapon. Sorry to those that took it. We knew almost immediately.

Epson printers that force you to use proprietary ink cartridges are a rip-off.

You don't comment code to say what you are doing, that's a stupid concept brought on by idiot instructors in CS.
You do it to say why you're doing something a certain way, so the 26-year-old know-it-all that wants to rewrite everything in the hot technology of the day can't say he didn't know that removing or changing that code would have effects downstream.

Surprisingly, people question me a lot on this, most American locomotives are powered by electric motors on each axle. They are electro-mechanical machines and the diesel engine drives a large alternator which supplies electricity to each of the traction motors on both ac and dc locomotives.

I don’t have to. White papers are being completed and will be out soon. Everyone will see. The number of injury deaths has surpassed the number of deaths assigned to ‘Covid’. It is a statistically created pandemic using a faulty pcr test to generate numbers and fear. Don’t believe just me. Wait and see for yourselves. This kind of crime cannot be kept hidden forever.
