This guy has to be the biggest pussy on the planet.
This conversation would not have gotten beyond "we have some questions about your performance at your last job" if I were in F. King's shoes. That information falls squarely into the "none of your business" category, and frankly I'm surprised LSU hasn't asserted itself here. Do bow-tie-wearing college admin creeps not sign NDAs?

He sounds like a great white man to lead your university

What an absolute piece of shite this guy is, and also anyone who buys that as a reason he didn't fire a sexual harasser.

Not elitist, at all. No way a guy like that would ever look down on another proud institution like that...
/Sarcasm
Man, that POS is made of kevlar with all that deflection.
ETA: I'm posting as I read the article

quote:
“Here we are much more advanced in how we see what our values are and we have a much more balanced approach,” Alexander said. “It’s not athletics that tries to run the university. We have higher expectations.”

And yet many of the same people that hired FKA at LSU are the same idiots that are in charge at LSU today.
LSU is on a hamster wheel of stupidity.
LSU is on a hamster wheel of stupidity.

He’s not wrong.
Oregon is more advanced than Louisiana, and there is more racism in Louisiana than Oregon.

What a pathetic deflection. There’s an email addressed to you from your athletic director stating we need to fire the football coach for sexual harassing students. You did nothing.

These people are as predictable as the sunrise

There's like 4 black people in Oregon, so we're light years ahead in diversity which is all that counts.

Well it's not like we didn't know he was a piece of shite public drunk.
His blatant arse kissing and virtue signaling while it's obvious he did nothing to stop the situation is pretty disgusting to see.

One state is lily white. The other is very "diverse."
But I'm sure there's no connection to advancement and racism.

Through annual fundraising and hands-on service, LSU Greeks raise thousands of dollars and record numerous hours of volunteer time. During the 2018-19 school year, Greeks donated more than $900,000 and performed nearly 43,500 hours of community service.

Racism and COVID are the blankets being used to self-comfort and coverup ineptitude.

They only donated time and money to organizations that uphold the cis het white patriarchy!!!!

So are the African American greek organizations included in this broad brush? If not, why?

Can you elaborate on this?
Oregon has looked like a shite show this year. What are you basing this on?
I would argue that the south in general is actually less racist than the rest of the country.

did not want him to increase diversity on campus

No. There's not. And how would you quantify this? Have you been to Oregon? Lived there? Conducted a survey?
Your statement is ridiculously stupid.
