Its $150 for a cut and a color. she thinks its a great deal. Luckily she only colors every 3 months.

Some of yal got it easy. I think mine's is something like $100 for a cut every month in a half and then coloring for like $300 every 3-4 months (it seems).
Like others, I used to comment on it back in the day, but it got nauseating. Now I just tell her it looks great and she shags the hell out of me that first day (before showing it off to all her other bf's obviously).

A really good one will bring in 80-100k a year. A lot get paid like shite. How long do you think a cut and color takes? 3-4 hours sometimes. How much do you make an hour? Factor in the chair stylist rent, 1000 a month, supplies, upkeep, hair shows and whatnot(continuing education), etc... it's not as ridiculous as you think it is. And if that stylist is working for someone, it's only likely that she's getting half of what she's doing. And for the amount of hours my wife works, how impossible it is to take a weekend off, and other sacrifices that has to be made... I tell her she's underpaid all the time.
Is it expensive as frick? No doubt. I'm just glad I'm not a chick.

Haven't you ever heard the saying "Happy Wife, Happy Life"? Mine goes 2-3 times a year at about two bills a pop with tip. It's not even close to what I spend on guns, fishing and hunting crap a year.
