My wife gets her hair cut every 2 months or so and it cost like $145 and she feels the need to tip like $20-$30.
Do hair stylists make like $200k annually?
Wow so less than $100 a month for your wife to feel good about herself and look pretty.
STFU pussy. Go earn more.

I used to pay $80 every 4 weeks when I would get a cut and color. As far as why we'd pay that much, you don't want a cheap stylist who is going to frick up your hair. Especially coloring it.
Now that I just get it cut (and it's a really simple cut), I go to a girl who does it for $20.
I wish they still had the School of Hair Design open near me. You could get salon quality cut and color for dirt cheap.

Jesus fricking Christ now my wife's $35 haircut every three months doesn't seem so bad.
PS - who's dumber - the wife spending $145 on a haircut or the husband who tolerates that shite?

My wife spends $0. She has straight long dark hair so she just cuts it herself if it gets too long. She doesn't do all that coloring stuff.
I didn't even force that on her or anything. I think she gave up on all that stuff after she finished undergrad and before I met her.

I pay $185.00 every 6 weeks in Tampa. When I lived in BR, it was around $120.00 or so.

$60 every month with $5 tip.

All the numbers I've seen on this board are fairly on the lower side.
Everyone needs to watch "Hair" by Chris Rock. Then you'll know your wives are spending pocket change.

I don't ask ... I assume it's around $500

I don't pay a thing, ever.
I was fortunate enough to have 2 uncles who ran a very upscale salon and as a teen, I was taught how to cut, trim and color my own hair. I don't have a complicated hairstyle anyway although I do change it up a little if I am in the mood.
When it grows down to my waist, I get my husband to put it in a ponytail down my back and he clips off about a foot or so which is donated for kids with cancer or alopecia.
Easy, breezy.

Seems like about $120-$150 every 2 or 3 months.
I'll gladly pay that, though, because she prematurely grayed.

Just a cut is about $80 plus tip. If I add color it's double that. If I buy shampoo, it's another $100.
