Have you ever heard of the Movie/Television industry? Atlanta is the Hollywood of the east. It seems like a ton of people I know are working on some kind of movie set or anything that has to do with the movie/tv industry and they are making shite tons of money. That industry fuels a TON of small businesses from graphic designers to remodeling to contractors to electricians, etc etc etc
In addition, Atlanta is the Hip-Hop capitol of America. Real Hip-Hop, not fake USAID Hip-Hop
Is Atlanta the best city in the world? Nope.. but it sure as hell is not the worst city in the world and it's a hell of a lot better than living in Nashville, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans
I lived in Dallas and Nashville and Atlanta smokes both of them - Although I really enjoy both cities but they don't offer nearly as much as what Atlanta offers - I'm talking shopping, parks, restaurants, nightlife, sports, etc etc etc
YES, Atlanta traffic sucks but it's just something you get used to living here.. In fact, everybody I know uses traffic time to catch up on phone calls and meetings
I have never lived in Houston but have been there many times and it's a shithole

I also lived in Miami for a while and Miami smokes all of them but that was 15+ years ago. I loved it when I lived there but I also partied my arse off when I lived there which I don't really do anymore

I said before Dallas is the new Atlanta and Atlanta is the new Dallas. Black people follow usually flock to where it's more affordable ... it's more affordable in Texas (especially for renters) ... for a long time they were about tied

I don’t get give two shits what y’all think about it. And I don’t care about Atlanta either. I always find it funny when you try to dump on another city. Everything in your state sucks arse and most of yall are Braves fans

All I know is my wife (no pics) has made a successful career in ATL as an artist over last 10+ years with murals all over the city and has been hired by the largest companies to do murals in their offices here (Google, Facebook, Coke, Starbucks, etc) a blessing to be here with right timing of major companies building regional offices here over the last 10 yrs along with her working her arse off - but my point is, this would not have happened in another city - right time right place right work ethic = we're never moving

They won't make it in Atlanta either. They better off in a Blue state. Yes Atlanta has a lot of black political leaders but they don't have the power to expand social programs and have less power than people think. Most of the political power lies in the mostly white and conservative state chambers. Also white conservatives in Buckhead have the most power in the state.
