Mortgaging our future off just in 4 year increments, and by the time we realize something has gone horribly wrong, we will be doomed to another Dark Age. Until we can as a society learn to think generations in advance, we are fricked as a society. We are a society of immediate gratification, and we have to get out of this mindset.

Finally someone who gets it. Yes SJWs, liberals, bible thumpers, and Muslims are problems, but they aren't the root cause. We look at everyone who is not like us or who doesn't hold the same opinions as us as people who consciously wish to destroy the world. This viewpoint is only focused on the short term, and is destroying us as a species. We have become a species of immediate gratification, and we have to look more long term on how much these bullshite issues really mean in the long term. Obama isn't going to mean anything 50 years from now, but our pseudo-tribal mentality we had will be a heavy problem for our descendants if we continue in this direction.
