All three vehicles, insurance 235, maintenance 150, fuel 750.

So 1135. No car payments.

My Bugatti and Ferrari fleet is still in winter storage. My other ride is your mom.

Interest.com Managing Editor Mike Sante says you shouldn't spend more than 10 percent of your pretax income on the combined cost of car payments and auto insurance, while The College Board recommends 15 percent of take-home pay should go toward all transportation expenses.

It's give and take. I'm content to pay more on fuel and commuting to have a decent amount of land and zero crime.

Too much. Around $950/mo. I have a cheap car, but I'm paying $600/mo to pay it off in 2 years. Insurance is insane now. Geico doubled my rate after one minor at fault accident (backed into a parked car & caused $1500 in damage. First at-fault claim in my life). Then $80 for gas, and $50 to park at work.

Whatevs.

$760 a month for two leased vehicles, gas, and insurance. No repairs because they're always under warranty.
