I said that to my four year old not thinking he would remember and repeat it, but he definitely remembers it and laughs while running away after he says it to his mother anytime she complains about something

I tell my kids that life isn't always fair and they've got 5 minutes to be mad or sad or whatever emotion said event evokes in them. After that it's time to move on to the next challenge and put that one in the past.

Some things are just out of your control and it does nothing for you or anyone else to harp on things that are done and aren't changing.

No mercy.

The older you get, the more you're gonna learn that life isn't fair. You wake up one morning feeling great, and then life throws a spinning heel kick to your balls and takes a big steaming shite in your mouth. You get an F on a test. You get suspended. You fall in love with a girl, but some other dude comes and steals her away. Your car gets set on fire. Just when you think things are going good, everything falls apart. That's how it goes. Life shows no mercy; so neither do you. Do whatever it takes to keep your head above water. Do whatever it takes to keep moving forward. Do whatever it takes to win. Remember who you are. You're badass. You don't give a shite. You kick arse.

I really am coming to like the Volvo you have. However, China still owns a significant stake in Volvo currently so it’s really not the “best” buy!

"Fair only comes to town once a year" is what I was told. Life sucks sometimes unfortunately, but a good attitude and humor can help most situations.

You've been reading too many of your wife's friends vague facebook posts. You've succeeded in getting enough people to ask for the details, now put them out there or frick off.

Life is unfair. Life is hard. Just know that there will be good times and to make the most of those moments.

Son’s asking me to do something about it right now...I’m at a loss though.

It’s just BS bad luck.
