In the 1970s, my parents called this area Tiger Town. They no longer used this term when I went to LSU in the 2010's.

It’s the North Gates, but used to be called Tiger Town a long time ago.

During my high school years in the 1950s, it was always called Tiger Town, and that is the same name it was called when I finished law school in 1975.
