What do you anticipate your total fuels costs will be for your personal vehicles in 2022?

$6,000 budget (3 vehicles)
$8,000 latest estimate (33% up)

Based upon $5.00/gal 2nd half 2022
(which may well be too low)

Same zero it was last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, and the year before….

About 5k for two, fuel-efficient vehicles, which is insane.

I've kept a budget since 2012 of every dollar spent and earned. I originally thought it might be neat to look abck and see how high this year's gas expense will be compared ot years' past, but then I thought that's not neat at all. I would be willing to be almost anything that I've spent more on gas so far halfway through 2022 than I did in all of 2020

Probably around $2k. I fill up once a month normally - I don't have to drive a lot.

3 vehicles (not counting my lawn mower which I use non-ethanol in)

Jan-Jun - $5,980

Jul-Dec - $7,410

Total - $13,390

Will likely be higher if the current rate of increase holds.

I’d say I’ve paid as much for gas between 1/20/2021-6/10/2022 as I paid for the entire period between 1/20/2017-1/192021.

ETA I’m sure those dates are purely coincidental because I’ve been assured the President doesn’t influence has prices.

Around $1,000 per vehicle and that's probably overestimating. So with two vehicles around $2,000.

Same vehicles in 2020 and 2021 would have been around half that for both.
