I just do odds and ends. If I do a good job, the lady of the house will let me sleep with her.

10-15 minutes of real work a day.
I mainly drink coffee. Belittle underlings. And shop online for woodworking tools.
I'm just reviewing others' work and tracking money in/out.

I do software consulting. I've met my 5 and 10 year goals of getting experience, promotions, managing teams, etc... but I rarely get joy out of my day-to-day like I did before. Work is slow (thus here I am browsing TD) and I manage one developer at the moment. Biggest difference today versus before is I have a family to support. Even though we are single income, we are still able to put money into savings after paying the bills.
I've got everything I could ask for and then some, but I find myself longing for something different. I need a Gunnery Sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket in my life to knock some sense into me.
