Their show on the outdoor channel was better and not so made for TV drama. They were funny but not so scripted stereotypical redneck as Duck Dynasty.

They’re fine. Not Hollywood, far from it. We did have some jacksss drive by shooting toward one of their homes. But yeah, they’re cool.

I know smart, respectable people who thoroughly enjoyed the show, but I couldn’t take more than a few minutes and had a hard time imaging anyone with an IQ over 65 thinking it was funny. But I think that of all the “reality” shows.
It’s a good thing I’m not a network executive. If someone pitched me the show, I would have run them off and missed out on $$$.
How is the show any different than a sitcom on network TV? Its obviously scripted to a point, thats obvious with all reality shows.. Because, like a sitcom, each episode has a storyline.
And since when does one's IQ is used to measure humor?

think, like every other reality show, the truth is exaggerated and at times maybe even made up.
With that said, I do think the idea of Uncle Si is kind of funny.

This “divide” is real and majority of actual South Louisiana wants nothing to do with North / central Louisiana yet all the rednecks in North LA love to connect themselves to South LA culture to feel relevant.
One of the main reasons I love when Bama steals another North LA recruit.

Phil has definitely made it clear how he is in real life. Phil is about as transparent about what he believes and his faith as can be. He's openly discussed all of the awful things he has done in his life and how Jesus changed him.
Even had an estranged daughter pop up a few months ago from his heathen days that was actually his daughter. She flew down and met the whole family. They have a podcast “Unashamed” and had her on it when she came down

Wait people actually follow these rednecks and know their names ?

This might blow your mind but her and her husband now live on the river at the Robertson compound. She actually hunted a bunch with Phil, Jase, and the rest of the crew.

He quit to hunt and fish. He just didn't care that much about football.
Some said he was a better QB than bradshaw.

I attended the SHOT Show (trade show NOT OPEN to the public) last year and they had John just hanging around talking to people. Jase's wife was there running things between the floor level part of the booth and the 2nd floor where I presumed Willie was conducting business. I think Phil has turned the entire operation over to Willie. Meet Si at another show and the show amplifies him x10. Good guy. All 3 of them were down to earth. Hopefully the show is back on next January...would love to get some signatures on my series set.
ETA: I listen to Phil, Jase, and Alan's podcast which is great. First half commentary about the days news and then a transition into the word of God. It's very obvious that these are good people who are only vilified by the coastal libtards.

No, not even close. He made the smart decision. That said Phil is the real deal. The whole family are good people.

It was actually Bradshaw himself who has stated multiple times that Phil was the better QB at LA Tech.

A lot to do with Baptist north messing up the catholic south. Why can't we have sports betting?
If N la was in charge it would be a dry state.
(Not true but the perception of many in the south)
