I don't know but the government having the certain knowledge that, at the end of the day, we will blindly do whatever they say just can't be good, even if you think it's warranted in this case.

Absolutely nothing. People have short memories and will go back to their normal lives once this passes.

Hopefully globalism dies a bit

We need nation states with strong borders living in peace and harmony

Government begins going further in their quest to control every aspect of our daily lives. Because they’ve learned that we’ll blindly follow whatever orders they give us.

We’re already seeing what slowing down has done to our environment. Smog levels down 25%. Rivers are cleaner. People are learning to eat at home regularly. Biggest loser in this is the oil industry, biggest winner should be remote crowd.

A better sense of nationalism. We need to SHUT DOWN certain globalist ideas. We've always traded globally going back to before Columbus. But we need not take in people without vetting and without a total assimilation to the United States. Bring in only those who dedicate themselves to the US Constitution.

The biggest thing I think will be a Congressional turnover. Trump needs to drive home repeatedly the fact that previous administrations and Congressmen and global CEO's have sold us out to China and others. We need to make sure our national security is never at stake. We need redundancy in manufacturing of goods, especially medical goods and food supplies. Lots of work to do.!

I think we're too far gone for this to happen, but it would be nice. No more relying on China and Saudi Arabia. Stricter border controls are absolutely needed, but it'll never comes to pass.

Preppers finally get to say, "I told ya so!" I thought people would learn to be prepared from a financial perspective after 2008/2009, but apparently not. You'll probably see an uptick in people staying stocked with food and building their cash reserves, but if/when we go back to a life of convenience and comfort they'll eventually stop.

Yes. Many industries were already headed this way, the virus just gave it a kick in the arse. We're about to find out just how many meetings and other traditional office work can easily be done from the comfort of home.

- fortification and improvement of our healthcare system, if not from an insurance standpoint, at least being ready and able to provide care and having all the supplies necessary
- TSA checks will be a whole lot more interesting, I can imagine cheek swabs and such before they allow you to board a plane
- I think the airline industry will finally implode and new, better companies will rise from the ashes
- I hope people will be cleaner overall. I've kept hand sanitizer on my person since I was in high school and adopted a lifestyle of frequent hand-washing, bathing, cleaning etc. partly due to a close family member going through chemo therapy and her immune system being compromised for years. I'm amazed at how filthy people are honestly.

Governments and hospitals will spend a lot of time and money creating task forces to be better prepared for the next pandemic.
