Require anyone who wants to receive welfare entitlement money to get their tubes tied or a vasectomy. You'd be surprised how much crime would plummet in one generation.

Leftists who celebrate child murder couldn't object to an elective medical procedure, could they?

This is just absolutely not true. Other violent crimes outside of rape and domestic violence are down as well.

Where do you draw the line on this? drinking, pot, and vandalism are pretty common for teens. Would you adjust this for if they were caught in process of car jacking or robbery with firearm?

Are drinking, pot, and vandalism violent crimes? The thread is about violence.

Rarely do you have a violent act carried out by surprise, and if that's the case, there is probably room for "passion" defenses, but general thuggery is well-known to most thug parents/aunties/uncles/gram-ma-mas and whoever is charged with the care of Thug Junior.

Chemical castration of infants at charity hospitals. Might take a while, but it would help.

Lock MFing animals up, just like the zoo does.

The criminal justice system should have two goals.

1) Rehabilitation - so that when criminals re-enter the free world, they won't commit additional crimes

2) If #1 is not possible, put then in an environment where they cannot harm the general public. Maybe this is jail. Maybe this is the funny farm.

Outside of the criminal justice system, we need to do a better job of showing and proving to kids that there are better options than a life of crime.

Simple. Put them in jail for the 1st crime they commit and get caught. This will prevent the next crime that they WOULD have committed. Thus the crime rate goes down.

I don’t know how to get the wheels in motion but I know blaming white men for everything would be a start.

The answer is simple.

Mandate the death penalty in ALL 50 states to be completed within 60 days of one being convicted of the following crimes:

Murder
Rape
Child Molestation/ solicitation
Car Jacking
Armed Robbery

I have railed against her before, but it bears repeating. The DA responsible for releasing these convicts in Memphis was supposed republican Amy Weirich.

Hopefully true conservatives realize that these RINOs are a much bigger threat that dems

Yeah, that was a pretty disturbing suggestion.

Behavioral euthanasia. We do it for other animals who are beyond repair. Should do it to these that are also beyond help

I know this is about violent crime, but unfortunately its closely tied to drugs in many cases.

I dont smoke, but here would be my steps:

-legalize weed on day 1
- a 3 to 6 month window of letting non violent weed inmates out, with impunity to LEO and PA's who put them away. No lawsuits. give them a prorated amount of money that would be half what the state/feds would have spend incarcerating them for the remainder of their sentence.

-reclass ALL narcotics. Everything slides down to lesser offenses in non-violent cases. Unless you're harming someone else or potentially harming (DUI) its high fine misdemeanors.

-Ramp up ALL violent crime charges. Stop letting wife beating assholes plead down. Stop letting violent people plead down period. These types are almost always repeat offenders.

But there's a high probability they will.

Maybe "chemical" was a little harsh.

The problem is we don't have enough jails. That's why their out in the first place. Our taxes would go through the roof if we jailed all the criminals. And if you try to put them in temporary jails, such as tent cities, the ACLU and liberals will be up in arms.
