Clean house. Hire Mexican replacements. Build multi-unit housing and deduct rent from their pay just like owing "the company store" in the old days.

Would run like a top.

The USPS in Denham Springs can’t even manage to pickup/deliver mail daily.

That's been the Republican plan all along. Take a public service that is essentially free, break it and sow discord about it so that the masses will clamor for privatization so that corporations can get richer off of it.

That's why they mandated setting aside all the pensions in advance, which no other company would be required to do, so that it would look like losses.

Then, when the spectre of voting against Republicans by mail raised its head, they began to demolish the sorting machines themselves.

USPS is a de facto federal welfare and job placement system for blacks.

Almost daily. They run on the interstate, they are white and have things on the back like MSY-HOU

Never seen one, but express overnight mail uses air.

No other company?

Hell, no other government agency, either.

But you know what is crazy?

Pre-funding is 100 percent the correct thing to do.

I thought the idea was to avoid waste. The military is bloated as it is.

USPS is trash.

Seems almost anytime they deliver a package, they scan it as “delivered,” but just keep it with them until they can actually deliver. They are allowed 48 hours before anything will happen. How about penalizing these fricks for scanning something as delivered that isn’t?

I went to the PO a week or so ago for the first time in years, and it was EXACTLY the same as I recalled. Four windows, 1 employee, 20 people in line. One employee at a counter not doing anything, except arguing with that other employee about who works the most hours. No one showing any urgency. No one being actually helpful.

I have problems with USPS doing simple tasks. They are ranked neck to neck with the DMV for people who don't care. Not every one, but a large majority of the workers are just lazy.

why do people who take paper from one box to another need a pension paid for by tax payers?

why are only government employees incapable of handling their own retirement?

Have you seen FedEx lately? UPS isn't much better either, and when you consider shipping costs, both of them are much WORSE than the USPS.

Way more expensive and most of them still use USPS to get packages to rural areas because get this... even at the much higher prices, it's still way too expensive to deliver to podunkville, usa

We do and it’s never been audited. But we waste money on a lot of stuff. Look how much money has gone into education just for us to continue to slide compared to where we were once at. The majority of the fed goes to transfer payments. We are giving illegals money and a phone. The amount of fraud and mismanagement of stimulus payments. It goes on and on.

A big step forward would be to fire the Canadians first
but they will still get through the border.
