She’s a cutie for sure.
6 months old, I doubt she gets much taller, she’ll probably fill out more though.
Next six months are going to be a bit of a fight with the chewing. Be sure to have lots of different kinds of toys for her to chew on.
Being that she’s new to the home, I wouldn’t give her free reign of the house just yet. Let her come into the rest of the house to play while monitored. At least until you know she’s Fully potty trained.
We’ve always kennel trained our dogs. Once trained, we just leave the door open on the kennels.
Doggie doors are the best!
She’s likely going to cry for the first few nights. It will pass as long as you don’t cave in to her crying.
Congrats on the good looking pup.

Don't be surprised if you take her to the vet and they say she's probably closer to 2 years old. Happened to us, worked out because our pup stayed at 35 lbs like my wife wants.

Ehhh I don’t know. This one has a lot of pup in her. I might not be surprised if she’s a bit older but she acts a lot like a puppy

Mine cried for about a week (he was 4 mos when we got him) so I put a blanket over the kennel to make him feel more secure. Rarely a peep out of him after that.
Coloring definitely looks rat terrier. My rat/chihuahua mix has the same brown spots above the eyes, brown ear markings and spots on the belly, but he’s only black and white. Great dog- all 6.7 lbs of him

That’s a Rat Terrier which has recently been spayed. She still has her dew claws and, though I can’t see it, her tail has probably not been bobbed.
Ratties are wonderful companions, great with kids and keep properties vermin free. It’s an American breed. A DNA test will probably show that she is 100% Rattie or very near so.
They can live past 20 years. You hit the jackpot with this little girl. She’ll be a great addition to your family.

Great looking dog you have there. Hard even guess on breed mix, likely a mix of a mix. I bet you'll have a faithful companion though. Congrats, a good dog is one of the great pleasures in life.

3 days in and it’s going great. She’s an awesome pup and has a basic understanding of house training already. Doesn’t like being left alone but we’re working on it.
Am not regretting this decision at all.
