Any New Balance shoe. Got the expensive frat star shoes and also really comfy, and good looking tennis shoes, that don’t ever cost more than $80. I love New Balance.

Merrill Moab slip on Mocs are some of the best shoes I've ever had. Ex wife bought them for me years ago for a trip to Big Bend and they've outlasted her.
But if we're really wanting to be classy:

I've really been enjoying these Cole Haan Grand Rally Pro Laser-cut sneakers this summer:

Have been wearing these since I was in 8th grade. Buy a new pair every 2-3 years, and I wear them basically any time i can, if I don’t have to wear loafers or it’s too hot to wear boots. Overpriced but they are made in the USA and last forever.
I’m actually about to get a new pair, but still undecided if I want to go another route or just stick with the old reliable. I like on clouds but the quality is sub-par.

I wish they made the more retro/simple NB's in a Made in USA version

Not sure what you mean by retro but they make these.

I haven't worn sneakers as an every day shoe in years. I do have a few pairs of running shoes. Don't do much running in them but I do go walking around my neighborhood. The ones I like best are a set ASICS Gel Cumulus. I've had at least four or five editions of them over the years.

I can't find those, but I did find some regular 990s

I own 1 pair of tennis shoes. They look something like this. Wear them 2-3 times per week for about 30 minutes.

For running HOKA Cliftons
For walking around I like ASICS or New Balance but I do have some Mizuno Wave Riders too.
