Don’t question him... he’s worried that when this blows over the SS will patrol the streets

All freedoms

It’s never blowing over. This is the end. ;)

They don’t want us to talk and figure out what they are actually planning to do.

Here's a crazy thing. Those old, vulnerable people rely on the young, healthy people for care. They can still catch it if the young, healthy people are out and about.
How can they rely on them for care if they are not?

You haven't. You just refuse to accept the informed explanations to your questions.
I am just pointing out people die every year in America from infectious diseases, yet we still have large gatherings that aren’t truly “necessary”. So we clearly have a certain risk appetite for infectious death where we aren’t willing to cancel events across the nation
I am not saying it isn’t smart or prudent to cancel during novel viruses. But it appears far too many people are making the emotional argument of “but people are dying” etc etc. well yes, but that isn’t new. The goal is not to stop all people dying. Or at least it clearly never has been before in the country

Not to mention people know when they have the flu and can stay home. 80 percent of the people that get covid19 have no symptoms and will just galavant around spreading it unknowingly until the number of cases explodes suddenly overwhelming our health care systems.

The national guard has been called in to New Rochelle. They are also banned from large gatherings including worship services.
I consider freedom to gather and freedom to worship important. If people voluntarily abstain that’s one thing but the state is forcing this

Just pointing that out

Nothing else has come near this level of panic and hysteria in the media and general populace. Why?
Perfect storm - mixed with ignorance, litigious society and media frenzy - Will definitely be happy when this one is over. I used to think the shark attack frenzies were nuts. This is a whole new level.

That is almost like 14-15 days.

By your logic, we shouldn’t do anything at all because other diseases kill more people? Try saying that out loud and realize how ridiculous it is.

Neither of these are giving up freedoms.

Which you can still do. Fail.

This isn't rocket science, people.
Apparently it is to a whole lot of people.
I want to say to people, it's not about you. It's about your parents who likely have pre-existing conditions (like 60% of Americans) who put them as risk. Or your grandparents. Or a family member you know who is going through chemo.
