My daughter is attending The Island School this summer. They have different style camps for different interests... But they all focus on ecology and scientific research in a marine environment.

I always wondered what that place was and I also wanted to jump off of their diving platform.
Your daughter is lucky!

I'm signing mine up for Camp Trump on the Mexican border, Summer 2017. They need to sweat a few lbs off.

Camp Ozark was incredible. Went 5 years in a row, the last 2 did stay over double session.

The Germans had some sleep away camps.
Most didn't come home from those sleep camps. They took the big sleep.
Camp Granada

Camp Country Lad, in Tennessee. Its great for kids to unplug for a month and learn some independence.

Camp Chosatonga in NC is awesome. Owner is a big tiger fan and alumnus I believe. Lots of lsu kids go there. There used to be a charter bus from br.
The camp is in the blue ridge mountains. Tons of activities and kids can pick what they want to do on a day to day basis.

She did girls scouts for 6 years. She outgrew it... No scuba diving in girlscouts.

Put them in the Scouts, send them to Scout Camp.
If it's for a girl, and you are an O-T Baller, send her to Kickapoo Kamp.

I had more fun at Stanislaus than anywhere else. Second best was Camp Carolina
