That's round trip tickets for any destination in the US and most in Europe. That's the start of a very nice vacation.

Vegas has been one of those place i wouldn’t mind going just to say I’ve been and seen it but as far as staying and blowing a bunch of money there no thanks.
Idk just not my thing.

What brings this question up?

If I am going to LV with only $2k I might as well not go.

I’d prefer staying at my house and goofing off to a Vegas trip, even if you paid me the $2,000 to go. But that’s a personal preference for avoiding the great unwashed.
Right now, because I’m getting to the mountains with regularity, I’d like a nice Caribbean getaway. I have my sights set on Goldeneye in Jamaica. I had a trip scheduled, but the Pandemic got in the way, and I haven’t had the chance to reschedule.

Pretty much anything. FWIW $2k doesn’t get you very much of a vacation these days.
Anything would be better than throwing it away in a casino tho.

$2k won’t get you very far in Vegas
Which is hilarious because Vegas is an absolutely retarded monument to American excess and stupidity. $50 burgers and overpriced concerts, $1,000 min tabs for a pool lounge setup. For the price of a week in Vegas, one could live like a god for 2 weeks in South America or SE Asia.

Mop the kitchen floor.
Vegas is okay once. It's not an imperative trip.

DO not care for Vegas and don't know that a person can spend a three day weekend in Vegas for $2K even if they lived in Henderson....

Visit a snow ski town during the summer. I like Steamboat Springs where you can:
- Ride the ski lift up the mountain and ride a mountain bike down.
- Attend a pro rodeo…every night.
- Take a guided fly-fishing trip.
- Do white water rafting.
- Wake up to 50 degree air with no humidity every morning even in august.
Additionally, there are enough hotels, restaurants, and shopping to keep anyone happy because it is a resort town.
For $2K?
I can't hardly go fishing and camping 10 miles from the house for 3 days and 2 nights for less than a $1000
