Why? There is literally nothing that a CPA can do with your information other than using it for your return and/or give you advice. You're trying to come off as a badass, but you look like an idiot.

No it's not. If you really have trusts and real estate and estate planning type stuff I don't believe that you are doing your own taxes. Not correctly, anyway.

Average Lawyer Yearly Salary in Louisiana. Lawyers earn a median salary of $89,210 per year. People be lying. Then you add the forty hours a week and it goes down even more.

I see talking net.
Industry labor average is a net of around $100 in labor per job. Remove parts from. equation.

It's common to take ten jobs a day. Say you only make $80 a job. If you work six days a week and take a month off, that's $230k. Just in labor.

To be honest this is a very low overhead industry.

Insurance is cheap.

There are only two people in this world that know what I make. Myself and my partner who happens to be my wife. Not my CPA, my financial guy, my friends, family or even the government. And that is by design.

On paper, I made 42k last year. My wife knows this.

Not on the table, I can think of 40-50k in cash that went through my hands. Pure profit. My wife he some idea of this.

With right of ways I would imagine that's another 50-60k a year going into my savings. I don't know. I don't look. It all goes into a local bank account that I basically never step foot in.

I live cheaply. Cheap cars. Small house. Only expense is about 10k a year eating out.

I'm kind of scared to look into my account if I'm honest. It's there as a rainy day safety net.

40 hours per week * 50 work weeks per year = 2,000 work hours.

How many people make $100 per hour (or salaried equivalent) and whose jobs only ask 40 per week out of them? Very, very, very, very, very few.

Quit letting people BS you.

My company starts expecting 50 hrs per week past 100K. Every other company I worked for had a virtual glass ceiling of 100k.

They are lying to you. Statistically speaking, an individual you meet making 200k is in the top 2% of income earners. That means out of every 100 people you meet, maybe 2 of them make that much.

Lately I have been going to various social engagements and while mingling amongst the guests I have come to the conclusion that I need to find a new career path. Everyone I meet seems to make 200k+. How do I get into these fields and what are they? I understand that physicians and lawyers take a considerable amount of school and am not interested in going back for that period of time. I make a comfortable living but am in no way an OT baller. Just looking to make a better future for myself and family.

So.

You want to make a baller salary without the sacrifices either to "pay your dues" or to continue it.

Just show up, punch in, do your thing, and go home.

Tell me how that works out for you.
