Hitler's decisions regarding supporting the Italians in Greece and invading Russia.

there is an even better example than that
Hitler allowing Goerring to change the Battle of Britain strategy from continuing to bomb the RAF fields to night bombing of London. The RAF was on the verge of collapse and bombing London allowed the RAF to regroup and strengthened the resiliency of the UK to fight.

Had they continued to bomb the RAF and the radar stations they would have broken the RAF. Which would have allowed the Germans to invade Britain on land. Which would have cause Britain to withdraw from Africa. Which would have allowed Italy to control the Med and North Africa. Which would have kept the Balkans quiet. Which would have kept Stalin at bay in his treaty with the Axis.

All of which would have dramatically altered the course of the war.

love that movie

I work with underprivileged, at-risk kids and I can't help but wonder how their lives and black culture in America would be if slavery didn't exist.

that's one of the dumbest things I have ever read and it's "world" superpower not "national" superpower. All slavery ended in America in 1865 and America wasn't considered a world superpower until the end of WW2 in 1945. 80 YEARS LATER. America became a world power because of 2 reasons:

1) Capitalism and Free Trade
2) at the end of WW2, America was one of the few industrialized countries left in the world that hadn't been destroyed by war.

At least he's consistent.

Maybe he's doing a study of different fan bases.

Viet Nam, Afghanistan, the way we fought both wars; invasion of Iraq, just for recent blunders.

An even better example. Hitler invading Poland and starting a war he couldn't win. He got everything he wanted until he invaded Poland.

Both Hitler and Napoleon invaded Russia and it cost them.

Then Russia and the US try to occupy Afghanistan to similar end.

One would have thought the US would have learned from Viet Nam and geographic advantages.

I wonder if that was a serious statement, or meant to stir the pot.

The US was an economic superpower by the turn of the 20th century. But not thanks to slavery.
