Why does everyone leave the first T out now?

Happens with names too: hearing the stands hollering for Pey-an instead of the name on the child’s jersey (Peyton). Just silly.

Across't instead of across. There's no T, people. Also, the l in salmon is silent. It's sah'mon, not SALmon. And for the love of God, pronounce the H in shrimp. It's Shrimp, not srimp.
