Doing anything remotely important on a smart phone. My reasons? Pages time out, connections drop, screen times out, etc. A desktop or laptop is still much more stable to me.

No food delivery except for pizza.
No smart watches.
No lawn service.

This. It just seems downright lazy to pay someone to go get your food.
for me it’s the money and principle. It’s not a big deal to drive 10 minutes down the road and back to get my food so why would I waste money paying someone to deliver it to me.

Lawn service. My oldest son is finally old enough to cut the yard so it's his job now.

Don't agree with the food delivery service hate though. We use it once every other month or so and it's very convenient. I gladly tip well for my laziness which might explain why I've never had an issue with anything I've had delivered

Smart watches have never appealed to me

I got one for free and I don't know what to do with it. I get I can have it track my exercise and sleep but WTF do I need that?

If never picked up an order from Walmart but I am starting to considered it.

Now the store constantly has employees wheeling around huge carts shopping for people and no one working registers. It's so bizzare to me.

The percentage of weird people in the store has drastically risen as less people go in to shop. Its just trashy workers and customers now.

My Samsung washer and drier keep logging into my home network. Not sure why or what they're up to. Should I be concerned?

Should have never let them have the password lol.

I don't allow any of my modern appliances online. I can't think of any reason I need an app for a dishwasher. I've got a drawer full of Samsung and ge wifi modules ive unplugged and removed from appliances. I don't know why I even save them.

This list would be far too long to type.

Then once you do it once, you are more likely to do it again and then there is another service you are paying for... that you don't need..

I think they're tracking the number or hours of laptop porn and adjusting the wash cycle accordingly.

Everything you said makes sense but not having a smart phone in this day & age is mind boggling….how do you post/lurk on TD while not at home?

On flights that have diverted (weather) and/or are delayed, sometimes your digital boarding pass will disappear. I 've seen that twice with United and once with Delta. If its late or you are at a regional airport that probably means going to the main ticketing desk then back through security.

Good idea to have both.

Or just do a screen shot of your boarding pass.

I would say that is an outlier situation. Our 5g signal is pretty stable at the house but if I had to make one life or death web interaction I would pick my desktop. The fiber connection it has been attached to for 28 years now has never gone down once.
