Half day or less. I choose because I'm the boss. :)

Pretty much nobody but upper management and executives get anything done. The grunts are fricking useless, but then again, they're useless most days.

One a-h got in the habit of taking his wife and five year old out to lunch and not coming back.
So...we started having a betting pool as to when he'd reappear.
Company owner came in about 3:30, asked where's Cris, and we pointed out the pool. Head draftsman explained it to him. Owner took Monday a.m. Owner won.

Cris lost. Job. Company won.

Usually a little longer lunch than normal. Cut out around 2:30-3:30 depending how busy it is. Catch up on emails that evening if a ton comes in.

most Dr's offices close at 12 where I work so not many prescriptions trickle in after that. the morning is busy so the evening can be pretty slow. I don't mind it.

A friend was a supervisor over a group that went to flex time that allowed a day off every other week.

Every underlying wanted Friday for their day off. Someone had to be there, so he gave them all Fridays (the easiest day of the week when people expect you to leave early) and worked it himself.

He took Monday as his day off. That is the shittiest day to go to work, and it lets you drink for football on Sunday.

Smarts like that is why he was the supervisor.
