While the housekeeper is doing laundry the wife and I are tossing the ball with the boys. When she’s running errands we’re at the movie, or on a date, or traveling with the family. Instead of cleaning house on a Saturday in preparation for guests, we’re enjoying the family and BBQ’ing by the pool. While she’s scrubbing toilets we’re both working 50+ hours a week.

It’s not about being lazy at all. We’ve both worked tirelessly to improve our quality of life for our family and enjoy life. When my time comes I don’t anticipate wishing I’d spent more time cleaning the house. It’s the quality time with the wife and kids that I don’t want to regret.
