Don't apologize unless you've done something wrong. Then, recognize the wrong and fix it. Address your failures or mistakes with sincerity and make an effort not to make the same mistakes.

Have seen too many 20 something year olds more upset about the outcome of a game than many of the players on the field

Realize that what you believe determines how you feel, and Feeling is the essence of life. And that willfully applying a ‘lens’ of Love colors ALL things in one’s life. Both the good, and the ‘bad’ which tempers the steel of one’s character. Donald Trump lived the life that he did in order to feel good about himself, and he still does. We all do. If one gets up in the morning and feels good about where they are and where they are patiently going- especially from a Faith and eternal life perspective- then one’s day will be full of opportunities and worthy challenges.

And know that one person’s ‘heaven’ is another’s ‘hell’. People experience the consequences of their beliefs and actions on different levels in order to know, and be able to make an educated choice, thereafter. The ‘Adam and Eve’ allegory presents this basic life narrative. Some people are meant ‘leave the Garden’ and commit murder and find out for themselves where that goes. Others to be perceived by their peers as being the ‘best’ person in the world, and see if that increases love, or decreases it. Or just to contentedly play around for the duration minus mucking it up with philosophical/spiritual complications. Respect for all people lightens one’s own load.

The two absolute Values in the universal Feeling Paradigm are Love and Self. It is each individual’s God given Right to choose their own highest Value and exist ( or cease to exist) as a consequence of their choice. Give Lucifer due respect, but don’t expect respect in return. That is the rule in this particular Paradigm. Absolute Justice cannot exist in the current Paradigm.

Congrats to our Tigers. They EARNED the good feeling.

Assume everyone you meet is crazy until they prove otherwise.

Be very careful of the people you trust.

Do Not keep up with the Jones'

Do Not buy shite that you don't need.

Save your money.

The most important thing in life is time. It's always moving forward. And It stops for no one.

Learn a skill. Something that not just anyone off the street can do. And yes, I men a trade like plumbing or electrician or a degree in a field like engineering

You're young. It's okay to leave a company or situation if you aren't as happy as you think you can be at work. After 25 though you need to have found a place to stick to.

Save money, avoid debt. Get a nest egg going. Always have at least $10K-$15K put aside for nothing more than pure emergencies.

Avoid women who don't take an interest in what makes you happy. If they never act curious about your hobbies or leisure activities, then they are self centered and don't care about the real you.

Try to get 30 minutes of exercise a day... any kind.

Get your damned face out of your screen and get outside.

Lord loves a workin' man, don't trust whitey, see a doctor and get rid of it.

Never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

What would you tell them?

Start saving and planning for retirement right now, it comes quicker than you think. Same for your kid’s college.

quote:

What matters?

Family. Getting married, having children, being a good husband (or wife) and raising your kids right is what matters.

Material things and wealth can bring happiness. But happiness is fleeting, temporary. Family brings joy, and joy endures.

And don’t waste time waiting to have kids when you feel like you “can afford them”, you’ll never have kids if that’s your criteria. Once you have a job and a place of your own, it’s time to settle down, get married and start a family, or in other words, have kids.

quote:

What doesn’t matter?

You need money and material stuff. But don’t lose sight of the fact these things are secondary to family.
