What about this disease makes people want to sit in their driveway?

Seems since all this started, there’s people just sitting in a camping chair in their driveway or front yard. They all prob have nice, shaded patios/decks in the back, but theyre sitting in the blazing sun uncomfortably staring at the street.

I don’t get it.

My wife and her boyfriend prefer the back patio. Sometimes they let me join them for a few Miller Lites.

People are tired of being cooped up in the house

I see people in their drive ways in my neighborhood sitting with a beer, kids are shooting hoops next to them or playing around in the yard. A lot more people are biking and going on walks.

My wife won’t let my friends in the house or back yard so we all sit in the driveway to drink

They probably just want to see other humans

I’ve met Mrs Fin and seen your friends. I completely understand why.

So you’re too poor to have a patio and too dumb to understand why people want to sit outside during these times?

Haters gon hate.

I sit in the front yard and visit with the neighbors. Sorry you’re a loser.

Sunlight does the body and mind good. I’ve spent more time outside these last 4-6 weeks than I had prior to lockdown. Basketball, running, working out, drinking...anything is better than being stuck inside 24/7.

It's all over my neighborhood. Just people wanting to "get out" of the house.

Problem is a lot of them will invite 2 or 3 families over as well and defeat the purpose.

I've seen people sitting in their driveway with furniture and shite. Looks like they moved their living room outside.

I tried not to judge, but I couldn't help myself.

Because I sit in my back yard all the time but if I sit in my driveway I can wave at neighbors and passersby. Also my kid loves to see and wave at other people so it keeps him entertained.

I've only done it while boiling crawfish though.
