Insurance grilled me like crazy, determined I wasn’t trying to get over on them and gave me more than KBB said the truck was worth. It was actually a fair exchange except for the fact I almost had my old truck paid for at 0% interest

Dude, that sucks balls. I hope you got a mutha fukka attorney and sue their balls off... .. and arrest the valet staff, because their asses were in on it.

Car rings are not hood rats but they are well coordinated operations.....organized crime.

Another poster here was staying at the same hotel and saw him talking to management/valet

The organizations train the yn's and let them go do the dirty work

Allegedly the thieves tried to get into 3-4 vehicles but had a “device” in their hand and got into my truck immediately, but sat in my truck for about an hour before starting it and driving off.
Now they sat it in your truck for an hour?
You previously said they drove off 30 minutes after it was parked and the evidence was video:

No they had video of the thieves hopping in my truck with ski masks and driving off about 30 mins after it was parked
Same video? That’s a pretty big rounding error for a vehicular theft on video.
It almost seems intentionally wrong. Makes me wonder if an employee needed a 30 minute alibi window and had someone cover with a story that can be disproven on video.
Edited: or just an accurate reflection of how few shits to give people in that industry have about important details.
Maybe you squeeze out a large sum of hotel points out of Marriott’ poor customer service.

No I did not get truck back. Just got video sent to my phone this morning from Premium Parking. From 5:30 AM-7 AM there was a truck parked in front of mine and they were running around trying to get into multiple vehicles but unfortunately somehow got into mine and drove off. I’ll upload picture of the truck that had the thieves
Posted on 7/21/25 at 2:33 pm to Tiger328
This is a screenshot I took of the video. The truck driving away is mine. The truck that is front and center has the thieves. It was about 4 of them running around for an hour and a half

It’s weird that some are doubting that a truck got stolen in Nola

Look at all these shitty arse jobs that are low paying and how most of the time its only these midnight basketballers who take those jobs.
Valet and parking lot attendants are 100% foreigners in Houston; is it different in NOLA?

Was the valet ever able to provide your keys?
Posted on 7/21/25 at 2:48 pm to Bjorn Cyborg
Here are two of them walking around looking at other vehicles
Posted on 7/21/25 at 2:48 pm to Bjorn Cyborg
Yes. They are saying that the key was in the box the entire time, just in the wrong slot, and they were supposed to call me that day.

Do you find that to be suspicious?
I do
Posted on 7/21/25 at 2:52 pm to Bjorn Cyborg
I find the entire thing suspicious. Premium Parking (Valet) is blaming Canal Place (Shopping Center where Parking Lot and Westin are located) because their security didn’t stop these guys for 1.5 hours, and Westin is not taking any stance or anything except it’s not them
