re: Portable Generator Break In

I just didn’t have a space heater. I’ve been cycling on a blow dryer every 20 mins or so for 10 mins just to get it loaded some. Almost done with the 5 hours. Is that okay that I didn’t put too much of a load, but just got it running? ...
Portable Generator Break In
Posted by Tiger328 on 6/29/24 at 12:51 pm
I bought a Westinghouse trifuel 10500. It recommends a 5 hour break in period of nothing above 50% load. Is it sufficient enough if I just run my deep freezer for 5 hours? Or should I put more load on it? ...

Spoiled by Good Louisiana Food
Posted by Tiger328 on 6/24/24 at 5:12 pm
I’m currently in Austria on a work trip. They’re known for their Schnitzel which is basically a chicken fried steak without seasoning. Anytime I go out of the country, im just not super impressed with the food scene. I know Louisiana may be “overrated” to some, but I just never seem to find any good...

re: Had no clue Amazon delivery burned that midnight oil
Posted by Tiger328 on 6/13/24 at 4:32 am
Amazon has been doing a “overnight” delivery feature lately. I’ve had deliveries as early as 4:30 Am as well. Threw me off cause they deliver in their personal vehicles, so when I had a random beat up ford explorer pull into my driveway that early I was concerned until I saw the Amazon uniform ...

Where to Buy 1/2 yard pre mixed concrete trailers near Gonzales
Posted by Tiger328 on 6/7/24 at 6:07 pm
I have a small project to do at the house where I only need about 1/2 yard. I can easily mix it myself, it’s roughly 25 quickcrete bags, but my dad mentioned at one point you could buy 1/2 yard pull behind trailers of mixed concrete which would be pretty awesome. Does this still exist? ...

Just wanted to update, I was able to add this today. Generator started up and didn’t starve any other gas from my house (stove, oven, fireplace, heater, water heater). I still need to put a load on it to see how it performs but I think I shoul...
