I watched some war documentaries a bout Hitler and Germany. Hitler saw the British as equals and didn't see them as enemies. He saw the U.S as equals as well.
It changed when the Royal Air Force started bombing German towns for no reason. Hitler warned them to stop but they kept bombing cities. So Hitler decided to retaliate.

Ok? They didn’t clear the forest in 72 hours walking with artillery in 1871, or 1918.
That also still doesn’t change the fact that the
French didn’t think they could move Panzer divisions over difficult terrain and almost a hundred miles and in a couple of days. A determination which could not have been informed by earlier conflicts.
Clearly it was a mistake, but it wasn’t totally ridiculous to assume that it couldn’t be done in that time frame. In 1939-1940, Germany’s combined arms capabilities were the most advanced system of warfare ever seen on the planet relative to the opposition

Totally different situations. Bad weather significantly limited air cover in winter 1944, which at the time was really the only effective over the horizon reconnaissance available.
You also ignore that the Battle of the Bulge was a total loss for Germany, and an utter strategic failure. They bloodied our nose, but it also effectively ended the war on the western front

You ignore the fact that the Allies were caught by total surprise. That part of the plan worked perfectly.

No I didn’t. I said they bloodied our nose, and I explained why we didn’t see it coming.
We knew it was coming to some extent, just not where. The weather hindered our recon abilities, and they hit us at the perfect spot on a quiet part of the line. We also countered quickly and ultimately encircled their entire force.
Totally and completely different from June 1940. Everything about the battles is different, including the armies involved, the technology involved, the weather. Everything except location
