I really like the ALDI. This was my 2nd time shopping there.

Both stores were out of bar soap and toilet paper (if ALDI even carries soap & TP).

All other items I looked at were well stocked.

It's hard to believe that people are still hoarding toilet paper. Every single human in the United States should have a good supply by now.

They do, but it's metric TP

Same. Still have a ton, so its quite possible we make it through the entirety of the pandemic without buying it.

That’s what I don’t understand... how do they keep running out? Isn’t everyone stocked up by now?

The trucks are still coming but they have no idea what's going to be on the truck from what my Dad told me.

It’s not that hard to believe when you realize a large percentage of the population is ‘tarded

I have a feeling most people are thinking, "We don't need TP right now but if they have any, I guess I'll grab a pack just in case". Then the limit is 2, which creates scarcity. So they buy two that they don't need.

Repeat for pretty much everyone.

I don’t understand the fascination with Aldi. Worst store I’ve ever been to.

I've never been to one, but I know it is a lot of the same stuff they sell at Trader Joe's with a different label on it. Interesting stuff, but you still need your regular store.

I love Aldis, main place I buy groceries from.

The TP thing is a real struggle. I probably have enough to last another week. I'm not ready to go on yet another expedition just to find toilet paper.

Since I got some already...

Staples has been great for us

Hand sanitizer when nobody else had it. Recently got TP and paper towels in bulk delivered as quickly as Amazon.

Not the normal brands I'd buy (quilted northern and something else) - but fine and not gouged.

Trader Joe's is better but that's not saying much. Their $2.50 wine is the best thing there.

When I don't have a quarter I like to find some foreign currency I have in a jar and use it instead. I always feed bad for the poor chap that gets my cart after me when the Aldi associate makes me change carts at the register.
