Nice pics though. Did something similar in Montana years ago. Rode horses up into the mountains and fished along rivers. Was checking for bears every minute and every time heard a noise. Kinda nerve wrecking when you know no one is within hundreds of miles of you.

This is exactly what the guys in the fly shop told me. Definitely something I'll check out once I have time to learn some fly fishing. They said that area is the longest continuous stretch of "Gold Medal" fishing waters in the entire country. Can't wait to check it out.

There's exceptions to every rule
I considered moving to CO or something for a change of pace, and my business allows me to work from anywhere with a phone and internet, but I also have a father battling cancer I help with a lot. Just saying that it's not all about "having balls" like you think it is.
