Kaep stood by his stance and it ultimately cost him his job. That's really undeniable. He's a mediocre QB, but he'd be with a team if he hadn't protested.
I think he's a misguided idiot who didn't even vote, but I have a sliver of respect for the fact that he stood by an unpopular opinion that cost him millions.
He still has $40mm in the bank..he still has a roof over his head...Nike is paying him millions...
If he would have known he would never pay football ever again I promise you he would have done things different....he didnt sacrifice anything....he's paying the price for being an idiot....actions have consequences.
Also, he's still suing the NFL for collusion......how can he sue the NFL and at the same time say he sacrificed his playing career?
whats happens if he wins the lawsuit?
Is it still a sacrifice?

Kudos to Nike for insinuating to confused inner city youths everywhere that you can make moronic life/career decisions and still land on your feet.
Yes- I think this causes more harm than good, in the larger scheme of things.

An entire generation of urban youth will certainly lose out because of this ad slogan.

They make some good stuff, i will continue to buy at roughly the same pace as i have in the past. I really don't care about their politics or who they chose to contract for endorsement deals

Not saying that at all. I mean they could always be adopted by a rich liberal family. Isn't everyone?

He's had ample chances to pull back when the backlash started, but he didn't for quite some time.
His actions definitely cost him millions of dollars. I'm not sure why someone would argue otherwise?

I’m not arguing otherwise. He also gained millions.
What did he sacrifice? Why is he suing the NFL?

How long before he starts kneeling to protest Nike's global sweatshops? Fight the power!

Congrats on being a snowflake.

People tend to be selectively outraged to fit their agenda - sort of like corporations selective choose which social issues to latch on to in order to support their agenda.

Apparently, neither does he. If he holds a presser, that would be a cool question to throw his way.

Congrats on completely misunderstanding and applying the term snowflake to anything and everything in life.
Is there anything that will piss you off enough to make a stand against?

Plus- No one knows the hardships little Xing Pi endures so we can post stuff like this!

Being "pissed off" over this ad is the definition of being a snowflake.
