I have some old Nike shirts. Time to throw them away. I’ll never buy a Nike product again.

I can’t wait to see how many Nike polos and jerseys I “don’t” see at the game this weekend.

Well then whatever you do, don't look down at the field.

.....for the same reason I haven't for the last 25 years. They are too narrow and their quality is crap.

This is the kind of stance I can get behind. That and "face down, arse up."

For those in this thread that dont think this stunt Nike ios trying to pulling isnt hurting their stock.....take a look at this...

Nike slides after tapping Colin Kaepernick as the new face of its 'Just Do It' ads (NKE)

Shares of the sneaker giant fell more than 2% in early trading Tuesday following the former quarterback's tweet.

Nike fell opened down 3.7% Tuesday after the sneaker giant revealed Colin Kaepernick as the 30th anniversary face of its famous "Just Do It" ad campaign.

Nike Stock Loses Billions in Market Cap After Debuting Colin Kaepernick Ad

quote:
This morning the stock market punished the company for alienating many of its core consumers, dropping Nike’s stock by over $3 a share and shaving over $4.5 billion off the company’s market cap.

For those keeping track, Nike stock has recovered and is trading at an all-time high today.

That ad campaign really hurt them.

The whole thing that confuses me is...don’t they usually make people that are actually good at playing sports their face?

This dude’s claim to fame is that he lost and whines about it.

Maybe they should make a winner their spokesman, not an unemployed has been loser.

The true value will come in April.

Xmas sales will be fine and not likely to adversely affect the stock. 2019 first quarter value will provide an idea of how things stand for Nike.

If you didn’t take your short cash immediately, your wait is about 7-8 months now.

Impory tariffs could change as well.
