Should've visited the OT, could've pushed for youth league books manager or HOA president and scored the big bucks.

Just some early reparations. No foul here.

So I guess there is some benefit to social media.

Welcome to Charlotte. He was probably making $12/hr to read a screen that does everything for him and tells him exactly what to do.

He is going to be a different kind of "broke" when Bubba and Larry get done with him in prison...

The question no one has asked.
Wells Fargo has such shitty controls that apparently any employee can walk into the vault and pocket a stack of bills? And it takes months and $88k of missing money along with social media posts to get their attention? How the frick does that happen?

I think we need to implement stupidity as an aggravator in our criminal justice system.

How the frick does that happen?
Especially when it happened at least 18 times (averaged almost $5000 a pop but may have started lower and took most towards end) or only caught when approaching $90,000. Both scenarios seem like a problem. From story this is just taking cash not creating fake invoices or expenses or transferring stuff electronically from customer or other account not checked daily or creating a short elsewhere that wasn’t being look at same day or next day. I would think they have to count daily. Also think they would mix up who does this, so same person could not keep covering themselves for extended time.
He probably figured out some shortcut location was doing it wasn’t supposed to be doing to make it quicker instead of counting everything. Maybe combined with another like handing employee keys or access card not thinking employee knew this gave them access to cash no one was counting daily but just keying in because it was sealed and locked off further.

The unsealed indictment alleges Henderson stole cash out of the vault in separate allotments on at least 18 different occasions this year.
Edit: I read more on this, and he did actually falsify documents of customer deposits, and embezzlement charges are involved. Also seems like he got someone else to help make false entries.
quote:
The vault he allegedly stole from contained cash deposits from customers, according to a news release by the FBI. Henderson was hired in April, and by July, he had allegedly stolen more than $70,000 in cash. The amounts he stole on an almost-daily basis in June and July alone ranged from $200 to $13,450, the court documents state.
To conceal his actions, he allegedly destroyed certain documents and made, as well as caused others to make, various false entries in the books, such as falsifying deposit slips and related records to understate the amount of customers' deposits.

Should’ve figured something was up when he actually showed up for work multiple days in a row.
