This is dumb. I live in Mandeville's school district and send my kids to private school. Public school is still public school.

Cantrell sucks for sure but it was a choice of two evils imo.
Charbonette is a plaintiff attorney. She would not be any better.

Charbonnet would have been Marc Morial 2.0. A terrible mayor, but not an utter and complete train wreck disaster like we have now.

That’s like saying if you lived in a good area you wouldn’t need to be members of the yacht club…there’d be public things for you to do around town.

It could just be worth the money to you. End of story.

wouldn't matter...we would still have that dirty DA in office letting felons back on to the street to commit more crime.

Sorry, but we're full in West St. Tammany. There's room available in Slidell, however.

Sad, ib...but a prudent move as you love your life and family more than NO.

The Urban areas will be the first links to snap in the societal dysfunction chain, as the Marxist whip up class division. The Rural populous despises the city populous, as much for their electoral fraud as their virulent and highly contagious crime culture.

Good luck with you relocation. Batten down the hatches wherever you go. The values of the people who you choose as your new neighbors, should be high on your location criteria list. Sadly so, sooner or later it will be the 'us against them' scenario. For keeps.

Make sure you leave Louisiana completely if you’re pulling the bandaid off and going through the trouble of moving. You’ll look back and wonder what took you so long, it’s so much better out of that shithole

There it is. Took a few minutes but it was bound to show up.

There isn’t one good area in Louisiana to raise a family……total shite show…. EVERYTHING IS BETTER ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

Amirite?

Better lots of stuff. There’s an all girls school right next to the all boys school and they both won state in soccer…so this morning they met to go over to the pre-k through 6th grade school to walk through with the trophies and inspire those kids. I mean really, you question the value in all of that?

Man, I can’t imagine living with NorthShore traffic now. I spent a ton of time in Mandeville before Katrina & it kinda sucked then.

Thats what happens when they try and treat the cops as criminals and the ones doing the crimes as the victims.

If the cops aren't enforcing laws, they're stealing from the taxpayers. That's still a crime, right?

Desi might have had enough clout to get an old “machine type” in versus this Soros funded shite.

For far too long I’ve made excuses or tried to convince myself that the crime, incompetent leadership, and downward spiral of this city weren’t that bad and that things would improve eventually.

This level of criminality is downstream of the destruction of the black family structure in inner cities.
Also, we as a society are ignorant of what is actually at the base of destructive human behavior, and we have “freed” ourselves from the thing that allowed human culture to flourish in the first place.
